Just a thought over coffee

I have suffered through many things. I am always stuck trying to find the meaning of life, and sometimes trying to create it. But is it real? Dammit, how many years have I wasted thinking that all I need is a good mindset, when in reality, nothing matters. I used to think I was special in the universe and that the universe treated me as special, but I am just a mere human who was brainwashed into believing that. To be honest, this is the main function of society: to make you think you are special and that you are contributing to something great, even if it is small.

Life is generally meaningless. We simply create meaning, which is heavily influenced by society. We are just bacteria in the vast cosmos. Whether you do good or bad, you will eventually die. Nobody lives forever. Even the universe has an age; our Earth and solar system have lifespans (the solar system may experience terminal instability and break apart within six billion years), and no current technology is going to stop them from ending.

Therefore, "there is no inherent meaning in life, so just enjoy what you have and focus on pleasure and experience." I am not saying to start murdering, or committing heinous crimes. Just try to be human. When a person reaches the end of their life, they should not have many regrets. Embrace your emotions; they are indicators of how to navigate life. Those coordinates will not always be perfect, which is where your logical brain steps in to make decisions. What I am trying to say is: do what you have to do, and just live life fully.
